FOOTBALL & SOCCER: Football is an Australian tradition. Aussie Stadium, formerly known as the Sydney Football Racing displays at the HughendenStadium, was built in 1988 as the premium football stadium. RACING, EQUESTRIAN EVENTS & HORSES: The Hughenden has been associated with bloodstock from sponsoring polo with its feisty quarterhorses and country races to its role as a quasi stable during the Royal Easter Show at the former Showgrounds, to supporting AJC events and the Royal Randwick Racecourse. Centennial Parklands Equestrian Centre is a world-class facility. Also Randwick Race Course & Australian Jockey Club (AJC).

GOLF: For golf enthusiasts, the Moore Park Golf Course has always provided the Hughenden a championship golf course. It has an 18 hole course and is a grade one championship public golf course, which is situated in the Centennial Parklands.
